How do I register / pay for the invitational?
You can register here, pay the registration fee by sending a check made out to MMHS Science Olympiad to 51 N Spanish Fork Parkway, Spanish Fork, UT 84660.
How much does registration cost?
Registration costs $40 / team and covers the cost of facilities, awards and lunch. We are able to keep the registration cost so low thanks to a generous grant from the STEM action center of Utah
Is there a late registration fee?
If you register after Jan 8th then a late fee of $10 will be applied
Why is there a registration fee? Don't my state fee cover competitions?
Your state fee covers the state-run competitions (Snow, Weber, SUU, and state) and the national's team registration fee. Our invitational fee covers facilities, medals, and lunch.

Where is a map?
Here's the map
I'd like to volunteer, point me in the right direction:
Head on over here to get setup with info about volunteering, thanks!!
Will all the events be offered?
That is the plan! Our goal is to offer all of the C events that nationals is offering.
Which division(s) can compete?
This year we are just doing division C (high school)
How many events can each person compete it?
There will be four different time slots, but the maximum number events that a person can compete in is 5 events.
How many teams will there be?
There will be a maximum of 20 teams for this year's competition.
What do I need to bring?
Each team must provide at least one adult (may be a parent) to run an event and a test for that event. Teams that register early will have first pick of events. Also, bring the NOISE! This is science, and we're going to have an AWESOME time. (Are we trying too hard here?...)
Wait, so I have to bring a test and run an event too?
There is a HUGE incentive here. By having each team run an event we will be able to share our resources with each other. At the end of the competition each team will receive ALL of the tests as digital files as well as the graded tests from each event. No other state competition does this - talk about a great way to build your program and learn from your performance.
We have a small team, is that ok?
Absolutely! Even if you have just one student that wants to compete, come, we'd love to have you!
Will lunch be provided?
Yes. Your school's registration fee will cover lunch this year for your team and volunteers.
We're coming a long way, are there places to stay?
There are several hotels nearby, but we do not currently have any partnerships with local hotels.
